Our Faith

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered to ALL who seek God’s love through Jesus Christ. Membership in this Church or in our denomination is not a requirement to receive this Sacrament. It is our custom to dip the bread into the cup and offer it with a personal prayer for God’s blessing. If you are unable to come forward, let one of our ushers know and we will bring communion to you at your seat.

The Sacrament of Baptism by water and the Holy Spirit, according to Scripture, as sign of repentance, confession of Jesus as Lord and Savior and a dedication of each life to God and God’s service, is available. Please see one of the pastors after the service if you would like more information about baptism.

Our Response to the Word

In the tradition of the New Testament Church, the Laying on of Hands and Anointing with Oil for healing of body, mind and spirit are offered each Sunday following the sermon. We encourage you to come forward to receive these gifts from God. You may also come forward at that time for individual prayer, to lift up your concerns and your special joys to God.

We hold classes at least quarterly to explain the history, mission, and vision of our church and what it means to be a member. We believe that we are all gifted by God with spiritual gifts that serve to bless and unite the whole body of the church and fulfill each of us. We believe it is important for all of us to live in covenant with each other. Our invitation to church membership is an invitation to commitment, community and a richer fuller life.
